The police are investigating Segun Awosanya, one of the significant voices requesting the rejecting of the famous hostile to burglary squad, SARS, known for human rights misuse and severity against subjects, a representative has said.

Mr. Awosanya, a lead campaigner in the subject drove #EndSARS activity, was blamed for fraternizing with lawmakers in some of his photos that police have seen on the web.

"When you see somebody like that who routinely blends with legislators now driving a battle to scrap a basic office in the police, at that point you know his exercises are not certifiable," police representative, Jimoh Moshood, told our correspondence .

Mr. Moshood messaged a photo which Mr. Awosanya brought with Speaker Yakubu Dogara and another he took at a business discussion as demonstrative of his political ties. However, he said the police was not blaming the Speaker for supporting Mr. Awosanya and different #EndSARS campaigners.

Awosanya disclosed to Premium Times he brought the photo with Dogara when his group presented an appeal to for the rejecting of SARS to the Speaker in September.

Moshood said the police regard the privileges of Nigerians to communicate on the web or disconnected, yet that would not prevent officers from exploring insidious components who shroud their plan with well known causes.

"Our examination does not mean we're endeavoring to encroach on people groups' rights, however the quarters where a portion of the cases are originating from and those driving them ought to be investigated," Moshood said.
